I was ashamed of one sin so badly, that I would only confess to God. Over and over again - for years! I was not confident that I was forgiven. Only when I confessed to "someone with skin" did I feel relieved of this sin. I needed to hear someone with authority say "God has forgiven you". Thank you Father.
