We often take those who serve us for granted. So I submit the following prayer:
Lord, thank you for all who serve others.
Thank you for military personnel.
Thank you for police officers, firefighters and emergency responders.
Thank you for custodians and wait staff and clerks.And thank you for teachers and priests and parents -- and everyone else.
Amen!
It is good to remember everyone who serves, including the doctors nurses soup kitchen workers etc
ReplyDeleteThankyou Father Robert. Arline is happy. It is nice to feel accepted. As far as wait staffs, arline worked at Mildred's Chowder House and I was the glass washer/salad maker at the New Pisa Rest. our family place in San .Francisco
ReplyDeleteI find strength in seeing others serving selflessly, to me it's glimpsing the "Face of Christ". It is good to always remember those who serve in our prayers. AND...Ed, your uncle asked me to check on the lint in those glasses you were drying...
